Aquasense

A device and website to monitor household water consumption.

AquaSense is a smart water monitoring system designed to encourage sustainable water practices in Australian households. This project involved the design and development of branding, packaging, a web dashboard, and the physical device.

The physical device uses an Arduino with a YF-S201 flow sensor to track water usage. The data is sent to a web dashboard through a PHP backend, which stores the data in a database for management and retrieval. The dashboard is powered by AJAX calls, providing real-time data updates without reloading the page. Users can access personalised water usage insights and set preferences based on the Australian Government’s Target 150 initiative.

Lighthouse Festival

A website and accompanying branding for Lighthouse Festival.

The site dynamically adapts its content to align with the festival timeline – before, during, or after – ensuring users receive relevant and timely information. This approach improves user flow by anticipating and addressing their needs at each stage.

The design heightens this – integrating a clean, minimalist style to highlight custom graphics and imagery without overwhelming the website.
